One striking feature of the anatomical structure of the human brain is the large number of connections between neurons which are indis- pensable for the complex processing that is still unequaled by man- made systems. The methodologically-driven project aims at establishing an analysis procedure which allows the identification and characteri- zation of long-range dynamic interactions within the human brain based on magnetoencephalographic (MEG) or electroencephalographic recor- dings.
