The project focuses on computer simulations to study regulatory aspects of intra-cellular architecture. The organization of systems composed of microtubules and associated proteins will be studied, with an emphasis on the proteins that regulate microtubule nucleation, assembly and stability. Regulation is a key element in many cellular structures, needed to get the correct average fiber length and organization.
