Zusammenfassung

In the second period of the project, research shall be focused on i) newly discovered species, ii) species which are used by the native population, and iii) species with newly described bioactivity. Most of these species belong to the subgenera Allium, Rhizirideum, and Melanocrommyum. Selected species will be compared over a larger area and intraspecific variability of the cysteine sulphoxide pattern will be investigated.
