This project is devoted to the synthesis of a range of novel macrocyclic tetrakisphosphines, in particular polyfunctional and optically active compounds, on the basis of self-assembly processes in three-component systems and the transition metal coordination chemistry of these novel polydentate macrocyclic ligands.
