Subject of this research project is the improvement of the surface structure of polymer stents by applying a micro- or nanostructure on the inner surface of the vessel sustainer. Main objective of the project is the development of manufacturing technologies for micro- or nanostructuring the surface of polymer stents to achieve a self-cleaning effect of the inner surface.
