Zusammenfassung

The project aims (1) to extend the available knowledge about the socio-economic processes in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia and (2) to improve research capacity (concerning both methodology and analysis) within the Central Asian region. To achieve these goals, the project will first establish a panel of households in Kyrgyzstan, representative at the national and regional levels, and collect household- and individual-level data covering demographics, welfare, coping strategies and labor market experience of individuals and households.
