The documentation of Tima (tàmáá dùmùrík), a target language spoken in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, was started in 2006. At that time, the Tima people explicitly indicated that they preferred not to have an anthropologist taking part in the documentation project. An anthropologist studying their culture in the 1990s so far has failed to report on his research results.
