The "Clinical Scientist" is a project by the "Junge Charité",a working group of scientists and clinicians who were selected on the basis of excellence in a competitive call. Junge Charité is supported by Stiftung Charité which was endowed by the entrepreneur Johanna Quandt in order to promote biomedical "knowledge entrepreneurs"that is, change makers in biomedicine at the Charité.The goal of this project is to develop new career paths in clinical specialist medical training.
