Food insecurity remains a problem for millions of people while its range and consequences have been aggravated by the recent food crisis. Those regions of the globe with sufficient quantity of food, such as the EU, suffer from quality and health concerns. In addition, climate change is threatening agricultural production in many parts of the world, and yet simultaneously fostered by agricultural production and animal husbandry.
