Zusammenfassung

The focus of the project is on K- theory, homotopy theory, homological algebra and non-commutative geometry. These form a central part of modern mathematics, having many connections with neighboring areas: algebraic geometry, representation theory, functional analysis, algebraic number theory and certain aspects of theoretical physics. The aim of the project is the study of homological and homo topical properties of algebraic and topological structures. The project will involve basic research on the aforementioned mathematical fields.
