The constantly developing, highly fluid political situation in North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula allows the project to observe history in the making. As events unfold and the outcome of the upheavals is still unknown, actors within the revolutions position and re-position themselves towards their adversaries and competitors (on the other side as well as within the revolutionary movements).
