Zusammenfassung

This pilot study is conceived to accompany and document current developments in youth mobilization and participation in Arab states. It will collect and analyze data on the political demands formulated by youth, their relationship to the state and possible support by international actors. The project focuses on Egypt and Morocco, which have undergone different socio-political trajectories during and after last year's protests: revolutionary change and governmental reform respectively.
