Zusammenfassung

The Aché Language Studies Project is investigating the history and mechanisms of contact-induced language change observable in Aché, an endangered indigenous language of Paraguay. In an interdisciplinary study, ALSP works on a morphosyntactic comparison between Aché and Guarani, (to which Aché is shifting) and also examines the semiotic and cultural practices underlying that language shift.
