Zusammenfassung
The idea is to investigate the ultra-fast kinetics and unique structural dynamics of new copper(I)-tetraazaphenanthrene complexes after optical excitation into their luminescent metal-to-ligand-charge-transfer-states in solution. This compound exhibits sterically active substituents in the 2,7 positions of the tetraazaphenanthrene ligands. This results in a suppressed non-radiative decay and optimized luminescence properties which make it a promising candidate for future application in dye-sensitized solar cells.
