The aim of the project is to implement a solid-state quantum node which is based on a scalable integrated optical single-photon pair source. This device is composed of two microcavities each containing a single fluorine donor as a stationary spin qubit with an optical interface. Simultaneous optical excitation of both spin qubits at the input port of the device leads to the emission of a pair of single-photons: The quantum information of the spin qubits is encoded in the frequencies of the emitted photons, in this way establishing an optical interface to the stationary spin qubits.
