This project aims to investigate the material evidence for the commemoration of the Late Bronze Age (ca. 1550-1200 BCE) during the Iron Age period in the Levant (ca. 1200-586 BCE). It starts with the evidence that surfaced in recent excavations at Tel Hazor in northern Israel, which brought to light several Iron-Age loci of commemoration of Bronze-Age artifacts and ruins.
