Zusammenfassung
This fellowship aims at the development of advanced theoretical tools for large scale ab initio modeling of molecules and solids interacting with X-ray free electron lasers (XFEL). Special emphasis is on novel X-ray spectroscopic techniques which are exclusively enabled by XFELs. The proposed schemes will feature state-of-the-art theoretical development to treat multiple deep-shell/valance electron-holes, extremely excited quasi-free/continuum electrons and molecular dynamics in densely packed electronic excited states in complex materials.
