Zusammenfassung

Can we re-think the hearing aid to become a true "listening aid", which is intelligently controlled, that is, by the brain itself? As a key result, this research could fundamentally alter how we think about engineering hearing aids and it could make hearing aids, like reading specs, a true alternative for the 40-year old and no longer just an inevitable nuisance for the 75-year old.
