This 'Experiment' is proposed to explore if carbon materials can transform during supersonic particle impact in cold spraying. A successful experiment would lead to the conception of a relatively simple and completely new method for the synthesis of interesting carbon materials such as (nano-) diamond and carbon onions from graphite or soot.
