The project aims at the preparation of superconducting foils as flexible magnetic shields. Such foils may be applied wherever complicated shapes are needed or low weight is essential. The preparation involves electrospinning of nanowires out of various supercondcting ceramic materials. The properties of these nanowires are still largely unknown, and first experiments on nanowire arrays have shown unexpected shapes of magnetization loops.
