It is unclear how human cells conduct higher order information processing within large cytoplasmic multiprotein complexes. Although the molecular basis for this is currently unknown, a new hypothesis would seem to explain it, namely by addressing dynamic loop structures formed within large signaling proteins so far considered to be naturally disordered.
