A bee-colony is a superorganism. The existence and the life of each given individual rely on a myriad of coordinated inter-individual interactions governed by endothermy. Therefore, each phase of the living cycle (including reproductive cycle, reaction on environmental pollution, pathogenic virus or bacterial infections, parasitic invasions) must have its optimal and characteristic 3-dimensional temperature distribution (3D-TD).
