Flexible organic electronics enable fascinating new applications in medicine and biology. The long term aim of this grant is to combine the excellent previous work in the field of organic electronics with the field of medicine and biology, to create new competences enabling a new, human-centered electronics with features such as flexibility, low weight, biocompatibility, resorption capacity and eco-friendliness.
