The project's vision is a change of course towards so called animal-cyber systems (ACS) in veterinary medicine and farm animal welfare. The purpose of this planning grant is to elaborate on a qualification concept on how farm animal welfare can benefit from the proper usage of networking, big data analytics, pervasive connectivity and computing, as well as artificial intelligence.
