In times of biodiversity, and specifically insect decline, efficientdocumentation of diversity is of high importance. Such documentationis traditionally done with insect collections in museums, but morerecently, especially since the establishment of DNA barcoding, issupplemented by tissue and DNA banks and sequence repositories.
