Intact or disrupted social relationships seem to influence cancer-related mortality; however, the underlying explanations for these statistical observations are currently only incompletely understood. This research project seeks to address the biological impact of disrupted social relationships on treatment responses after modern cancer therapies to find evidence how socialization affects cancer-related mortality.
