Zusammenfassung

The mathematical problems to be tackled range from the elastic behavior of biological materials over inverse problems for partial di?erential equations like the wave equation to the discretization of the resulting equations, e. g. as graphs or by hands of one- and multi-dimensional wavelets. The heart of the project consists of collaborations between Russian and Ukrainian scientists at the German host institutions.
