TThe research program focuses on the steering function of law ("regulation"). The goal is to empirically analyse and compare different regulatory instruments using well-established methods of quantitative empirical social research. Primarily, statistical data will be used but it is also planned to assemble data-sets using field experiments, lab experiments and virtual reality experiments.
