Zusammenfassung

The goal of the research project is to shed light on political effects of the Taliban's recent seizure of power on the neighboring states of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. This will not only contribute to a better understanding of recent political developments in Afghanistan but will also have practical benefits for the assessment of a complex conflict situation that is very dynamic (e.g., for NGOs in the field of international development cooperation and political decision-makers).
