Zusammenfassung

The “Comparing Protest Actions” (CPA) project which has been funded by the Volkswagen Foundation from 2016 to 2023 has compiled 834 semi-structured interviews in Ukraine, with a length of over 1,400 hours and partial transcriptions already covering over 7,000 pages. While the interviews were originally conducted in order to reconstruct protest actions, most prominently the Euromaidan protests in Kyiv in 2013/14, the interviews also offer rich insights into changes in the political culture and identity of the Ukrainian population - a topic which is getting increasing attention from researchers ...
