Zusammenfassung

The project aims at the participatory design and testing of local emissions trading systems in the city of Essen. The research question focuses on how the municipal climate protection effects can be increased through cross-district cooperation. At the beginning of the project activities, a socio-ecological segregation index will be developed. On that basis, spatial sustainability levels in two structurally different neighborhoods can be derived.
