Protein-rich waste, such as rapeseed residues, fermentation residues from biogas plants and waste from poultry production, is available in abundance, but has so far been little used. A processing and utilization opens up new avenues for the development of sustainable, recyclable, biodegradable and functional polymer films for agriculture.
