Cancer continues to be one of the leading causes of death worldwide. In addition to facing unknown prospect of recovery, patients are stressed by medical treatment. Particularly, repeated painful intravenous administration of chemotherapeutics and serious side effects of the systemic therapy reduce patients' quality of life. Moreover, chemotherapy patients are often immune-compromised, hence are very vulnerable to antibiotics-resistant bacteria prevalent in hospitals.
