The vast amount of data in the accident and emergency context becomes available by creating a technological foundation to securely link data from event data recorder (EDR), emergency medical services (EMS), and electronic health record (EHR), i.e., the International Standard Accident Number (ISAN). Based on date, time, and location coordinates of the event, the ISAN is requested initially from the alerting system.
