Postcards are a ubiquitous object that offers analytic opportunities in comparative perspective. This project scrutinizes postcards in Germany and Israel from 1960 to 2000, juxtaposing the postcard imagery with the momentous socio-political events of this period. By WW2, postcards had become a habitual means of communication, especially during holidays.
